Welcome to Google Apps for Work!

This page is intended to make the transition from your current system as smooth as possible. Below you’ll find the steps required to activate your new Google Apps for Work account. Once the transition is completed, you’ll no longer receive new emails on your old system, so it’s very important to get your account ready immediately. Failing to follow these steps will result in a more complicated transition for your whole organization!

Once you've activated your account you'll be able to sign in via the web or any mobile device to access your email, contacts, calendar & more. If you're more comfortable with using a traditional email client like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, contact us to get things configured or follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to do it yourself. 

Step 1 - Go to gmail.com and enter your current email address in the box. Click the blue 'Next' button. 

If you are signed into an existing Google account (personal Gmail for example), you'll need to sign out of it first or click on the upper right profile icon and choose 'Add Account'. 

Step 2 - Enter in the temporary password we provided you and click the blue 'Sign In' button.

If you don't have the temporary password, please let us know!

Step 3 - You'll see the Google Apps Terms & Conditions screen at this point. Click the blue  'I accept, Continue to my account' button.

Step 4 - Please enter your new password in twice, then click the blue 'Reset Password' button.

For security reasons we advise not using the same password on two different sites. Try to make it at least 10 characters long with a mix of numbers, letters, case, and even symbols. We highly recommend using random passwords along with a password manager like LastPass for added security. 

That's it. You're done activating your account!

If you'd like to jump into your inbox right away, click on the button that looks like a tiny grid in the upper right and select 'Mail' from the resulting drop-down menu. You can use this trick to jump from one area of Google Apps to another easily. In fact, you can also drag the icons around to sort them any way you prefer.

For Apple Mail Users

Click here for a brief video tutorial but the basic steps are:

  1. Open Mail.
  2. From the top menu click on Mail, then Add Account.
  3. Choose 'Google'
  4. Sign in.
  5. Choose what you want to sync.
  6. Done!

For Outlook Users

Click here to download the Google Apps Sync utility. If you follow the instructions on the download page you can try to get yourself connected but we highly recommend scheduling a time with us to help you in person or remotely. In larger organizations we typically block out one or more days to do it. This is especially true if it's the first time you're syncing after the migration.
